GelTech Solutions Delivers Order of FireIce Products to Xcel Energy

GelTech Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GLTC) (OTCQB: GLTC), creators of FireIce, a revolutionary water enhancing fire suppressant that has the potential to change current firefighting techniques, announces delivery of the initial order of FireIce to Southwestern Public Service Company (SPS), a unit of Xcel Energy, a major public U.S. electricity and natural gas company, with operations in eight Western and Midwestern states.

After successful field demonstrations by the FireIce team, SPS has launched a pilot project to use FireIce to combat their utility pole fires; a common problem for many utility companies. Xcel Energy provides a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to 3.4 million electricity customers and 1.9 million natural gas customers through its regulated operating companies. Xcel Energy headquarters are located in Minneapolis.
