GelTech Announces New Officer Appointments

Creators of FireIce, a revolutionary water enhancing fire suppressant that has the potential to change current firefighting techniques, announces the appointment of Michael L. Reger as president and Daniel P. Simon as chief operating officer.
Mr. Reger has been the chief operating officer since March 2013 and is the principal shareholder of GelTech. Since his appointment as COO, Mike's day to day involvement in the business has resulted in a Company that is more focused on marketing, research and development. As Mike fulfills the president's role, the company will focus more heavily on sales - related activities. Mr. Reger stated, "this executive realignment reaffirms our focus on marketing, sales and brand development. We will continue to emphasize revenue - related activity as we aggressively move to build market share."
Since Mr. Simon joined GelTech in September 2013 as Director of Utility Markets, he has used his 40 years of utility industry experience to make inroads with a number of large utilities serving major metropolitan markets. Dan brings a wealth of management experience to the position of chief operating officer. In previous roles, Mr. Simon directed over 200 employees as Emergency and Environmental Manager for Consolidated Edison in Manhattan.

GelTech's newest product solution is GT-W14, an advanced absorbency technology to control fluid spills of all sizes, turning liquids into solid waste for easier and safer disposal. GT-W14 is highly effective on both dense and porous surfaces, and its advanced absorbency technology absorbs liquids much faster than traditional spill absorbent products. In independent laboratory testing, GT-W14 also reduced the hazardous chemical rating of multiple industrial fluids, oils, and chemicals that it was applied to and neutralized the PH of several acids and bases with no adverse chemical reactions on any of the fluids tested.
